"Beat The Boundries" is an international judo tournament for children and young people organized by Podbeskidzkie Towarzystwo Sportowe “Janosik”. The two previous editions, which have been implemented in the framework of the EU project of the same name, no doubt can be called a success. The first one took place on 1 March 2014 in Bielsko-Biala Hall, Street Widok 12. The competition was attended by 250 participants from 21 clubs across the Polish, Czech and Slovak Republic, who rivaled with each other in terms of age from 2004 to 2008. Special guests were outstanding judokas Paul Nastula and Krzysztof Kurczyna. About two thousand fans participated in the tournament gave great reviews of the whole event.
Next edition of the tournament organized on March 29 in a rather unusual, for this kind of event, a place which is undoubtedly the Congress Hall of the Hotel Golebiewski in Wisla. The age categories compete 1999-2004 stood until 280 competitors from 23 clubs from Polish, Czech, Slovakia and Ukraine.
"Beat The Boundries" is more than a tournament. We overcome the boundaries of the idea and philosophy, which can be related with different spheres of life. The third edition of the event goes a step further and pushed the limits. Its aim is to show that, despite many adversities and various barriers posed to us by the life you can not give up and you have to end fight for your dreams and highest laurels.
The event took place on October 12, 2014 in the sports hall at Dębowiec in Bielsko-Biala. The competition was attended by nearly 700 players from Polish, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Hungary and other countries. Honorary Patron of the event was taken by Polish Judo Association and the Polish Olympic Committee. Unlike in previous editions, the organizers have focused not only on the same competition, but also accompanying attractions.
The next event, the fourth in the series, "Beat The Boundries" is scheduled for May 31, 2015 year. The tournament will be held in the well-known Hall - Sports at Dębowiec in Bielsko-Biala. The organizers have announced that in connection with Children Day they prepared much more attractions.
